CFN Trivia

( Justo Pelladito (tumbador) / X / Mario Jáuregui (quinto)/ Fermín Naní (tres-dos?), Capture Credit: Patricio)

If you are old enough to remember, in 80' a historic performance took place in Brooklyn. For the first time the Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba touched ground on US soil and performed music and traditions that most if not all had ever seen in person. It was the first time for many a NY rumbero to witness firsthand how things were done in Cuba, and done rightly so. Anyone who was anyone was at that concert.
Patricio has a blog out dedicated to the Conjunto and has an interesting post with many pictures from this historic event.

Check Patricio's site and see if you can fill in the blanks:

*keep up the good work Patricio

** I would also invite anyone who was at this historic event to please drop a line or two in the comments so we can get an idea of what this event was like. I was not even born at the time, so I would like to know more than anyone.
